(Colorful)
(Yamashita Tomohisa)
(Dragon Zakura)

dare ga oshiete doko ni ikebaii?
dare ga oshiete boku ni dekiru koto
miagereba ame furi mukeba kabe
tada no keshiki sae setsunasa o masu

yoake mae hitori kiri atemonaku aruite mo mitsukaranai

nando kotae sagashite mo kangaeru hodo wakaranai
me ni hairu hikari o ukete ippozutsu aruite miruka
tsuki o miagete miru

ano hi ano toki ubawareta kodou
torikaesunda akai jouretsu

ano kuroi yami koete tsukimatou kage sae mo keshite yaru

mienai mono ni tachimukau kibou・yuuki te ni irero
asu e tsuzuku michinori o ippozutsu fumidashite miru
mirai ni inoru youni

ano kuroi yami koete sagasunda mugen no aoi sora

ikura sagashi tsuzukete mo kotae nante wakaranai
me ni hairu hikari o ukete kokoro no mama ni susumunda
yori ga agete yuku

mienai mono ni tachimukau kibou・yuuki te ni irero
asu e tsuzuku michinori o ippozutsu fumidashite miru
mirai ni inoru youni
tsuki o miagete miru

I love this song… I was looking for a translation of the lyrics when I came across your blog.

I’m surprised by some of the responses here though. I wouldn’t really label myself as a Yamapi fan– but I absolutely love his voice. His acting can be hit or miss (mostly miss, in my opinion), but his voice is so distinct and strong.

“Actually this is one of the 3 songs I have ever heard him sing, the other 2 being ‘抱いてセニョリータ/Daite Senorita’ and ‘青春アミゴ/Seishun Amigo’…I prefer his acting though…”

ahahah!! me too… I love him but only as an actor!
he’s much better as acting because that’s what he wanted to do I suppose! I’ve heard in an interview that when he entered Johnny’s entertainment they told him he would have to dance and sing (sorry for errors, I’m Italian…!!) and, WORRIED, he answered he never did it before… that’s why I think he wanted to be an actor not a singer nor dancer!

    Thanks for the comment, Izumi!

    Will try to give ‘Papa to Musume…’ a try, but after Hana-Kimi…me following a one-drama-at-a-time rule…haha… 😛

Haha…why ashamed? Well, his voice, to me, is still alright…he just has this habit of rolling his tongue at the ‘r’ syllable (is it called ‘syllable’?), which sometimes sounds strange…

Actually this is one of the 3 songs I have ever heard him sing, the other 2 being ‘抱いてセニョリータ/Daite Senorita’ and ‘青春アミゴ/Seishun Amigo’…I prefer his acting though… 😛

I’m slightly ashamed to say I like this song. *lol* I can’t stand Yamashita Tomohisa’s voice, but I like the lyrics and the beat. It’s a good thing I’ve got the ‘Original karaoke’ version. 😛
